Electronic warfare (EW) systems from Midnight Lab
Our devices provide a high level of security and protection against a wide range of modern threats associated with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, FPV drones and other radio-controlled systems. Our solutions are designed for real-world combat conditions and take into account the experience of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, which allows us to counter enemy aerial reconnaissance and strikes as effectively as possible.
Electronic warfare system against FPV drones: scope of application
MNL's electronic warfare systems operate in a wide frequency range, creating reliable interference with enemy UAV control and navigation channels. This makes it possible to disrupt kamikaze drone attacks, reduce the accuracy of ammunition guidance, and make it impossible to adjust enemy artillery fire. Thanks to their modular architecture, the systems can be scaled to specific tasks - from defending a single position to building a multi-level defense system at the front line.
Key tasks of electronic warfare systems for the Armed Forces of Ukraine:
- Detection and suppression of control channels for FPV drones and reconnaissance UAVs.
- Blocking telemetry and video transmission channels.
- Disruption of UAV navigation and orientation by affecting operating frequencies.
- Increasing the survivability of units, shelters, equipment and warehouses by reducing the effectiveness of enemy intelligence.
Advantages of RBM complexes from Midnight Lab
- Universality of EW application for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Our systems can be integrated into the defense system of stationary facilities (strongholds, warehouses, headquarters), mounted on vehicles or armored vehicles, and used to enhance the protection of mobile groups.
- Mobility and cost-effectiveness of the REB complexes. The systems are characterized by well-thought-out ergonomics, light weight and a convenient form factor that simplifies transportation, deployment and maintenance in the field. Energy-efficient solutions and built-in battery systems ensure long-term uninterrupted operation without being tied to stationary power sources.
- The effectiveness of electronic warfare against FPV drones. Powerful jamming of radio signals in a wide frequency range allows you to counter most common types of drones and radio-controlled systems used by the enemy. This provides a reliable electronic dome over your positions.
Why do the military choose Midnight Lab products?
Our equipment meets high standards of quality and reliability, undergoes multi-stage testing and adaptation to the requirements of military users in combat conditions. We offer technical support, advice on choosing a system for specific tasks, as well as assistance in integrating electronic warfare into the unit's existing defense system.
MNL electronic warfare systems are a tool that increases the survival of personnel, reduces the effectiveness of enemy drones, and helps to preserve equipment and resources on the front line. By choosing our solutions, you get not just equipment, but a comprehensive approach to electronic defense of your positions.
REB complexes: frequently asked questions and answers
Against which drones are electronic warfare systems effective?
The systems work against FPV drones, DJI Mavic, Autel, Orlan and other UAVs. They cover 400-5800 MHz frequencies, including control, video, and GPS navigation.
What is the range of the EPR?
Depends on the type: portable - 1-5 km, mobile - 5-20 km, stationary - up to 30 km. Efficiency increases with antenna power and installation height.
Are EWRs safe for your own equipment?
For example, modern models have selective suppression - they do not affect friendly frequencies. They use encryption and adaptive algorithms to protect their channels.
How long does the autonomous system operate?
Most have a battery life of 1-2 hours, with the possibility of recharging from a generator. Some models support continuous operation from the mains.
How do I install and use the RBM?
- Position the antennas at a height for better coverage.
- Turn on frequency scanning and set the mode.
- No need for specialists - intuitive operation with buttons or an app.
What frequencies are suppressed by EW?
Wide range: 400-470 MHz (control), 900-1200 MHz (video), 2.4/5.8 GHz (Wi-Fi drones), GPS/GLONASS (1575/1602 MHz).
Does the EPR affect mobile communications?
Modern systems are selective and do not affect cellular networks (900/1800 MHz). You can configure the exclusion of certain frequencies.
How does electronic warfare protect against FPV drones, does electronic warfare block drone video?
FPVs operate at 5.8 GHz - EW creates "white noise", disrupting video and control. The drone loses signal and falls or flies away.
Yes, it interrupts telemetry - the operator loses the picture in real time.
Do I need training for REBs?
Minimum: 10-20 minutes for familiarization. The instructions are simple, with status indicators.
What is the operating temperature of the EPR?
From -30°C to +50°C, protected against moisture (IP65). They work in rain, snow or heat.
Can I combine EPR with other products?
Yes, ideally with air defense, camouflage, or firepower. They create a multi-layered defense.
How does EW affect GPS navigation?
Suppresses satellite signals - drones lose their coordinates and cannot maneuver or attack accurately.
Is there any noise from the EPR?
The fans may hum, but are quiet at a distance of 1-2 meters. No radiation harmful to health.
What is the service life of the RIB?
5-10 years, batteries are replaced. Resistant to shock and vibration.
Do I need a permit for REB?
For the military, no. Check your local rules for civilian use.
